Airec Syprasert, ACE, 22

Hi-yall. My name is Airec, or Eric in English, or Lek in Laotian. I am a creative writing major and a journalism minor that is attending SFSU. Hopefully in the future I can write books, short stories, or magazine articles that will entertain people. And hopefully I can write a book that reflects the true colors of the EDM scene. I love to listen to TRANCE, house, and electro, I can handle only a little bit of dubstep. I am most excited to see Calvin Harris and Porter Robinson at EDC, not to forget Markus Schulz! my favorite DJ. The song that I say had the most effect on me this past few months has to be Above and Beyond's SUN AND THE MOON!!! The most excited thing I want to do in Vegas is not only to rage but just to have some clean fun while spending it with a good group of people who by the end I want to call my family.

RAVE NAMEs: ACE, Panda, Pikachu

Ace was my first rave name. It was given to me by my best friend danny from high school, who also now resides in SF. Great guy he is and he has known me for a good amount of my life. Sometimes I feel like I live in his shadow. So it was an honer when he named me Ace, which translated from my high school nickname, at ETD Love 2008. Panda was given to me from a girl that I was once close with, who I believe is still a little. . .ahh never mind ill keep that to myself. I LOVE PANDAS!!! I think it's because I'm asian but also because it was also my high school wrestling nickname!!!

Koleana Kai McGuire, Carebear/Kai-Bear

Aloha! My name is Koleana. I have a gabagillion nicknames...if Koleana is too complicated for ya just call me Koko or Kai ;) Currently studying Kinesiology at University of Hawaii, Manoa. (Transferred from SFSU...Hawaii randomly seduced me into moving). I'm joining the Peace Corps after college...I pretty much just wanna travel and do humanitarian work in foreign countries for the rest of my life. But if that doesn't work out- I'm trying to get an edumacation to fall back on ;) If I could marry 1 female celebrity- it would be Angelina Jolie. If I could marry 1 male celebrity- it would be Johnny Depp. If I could marry one EDM dj it would be Fedde Le Grand!! Thus, I am most excited to see my future husband at EDC, and let him entrance me with his sexy brilliance. After EDC last year, the Borgore remix of Sleepyhead was on my mind 24/7...some days it literally brings tears to my eyes! I'm not partial to one type of edm...trance makes me run, house makes me dance, dupstep makes me head-bang...all styles touch me in very unique ways =) My first legit rave was POP 2008 at the Cow Palace in SF. Tiesto changed my life that night! I've been to EDC the past 3 years in a row, and every year has gotten BETTER and BETTER. Sometimes I feel a bit isolated being so far away from everyone back in Cali... I'm jumping out of my skin with excitement to reunite with my EDC lovies...and hold hands through this 3 day journey once again <3

Nicole, NOCO

Hi Peeps!! My name's Nicole. I am 2* years of age. People call me Handy (my ridiculously american last name), Cupcake (my rave name) or Noco (it caught on a year or so ago after I attempted to introduce myself to a group of people. My name came out sounding like "noco" instead of Nicole because I was heavily intoxicated and couldn't speak clearly) hehe. I have grown up and still live in beautiful Santa Cruz, Cali and am a slave to work and school.. looking to go into Nursing. I started raving back in 2009. My first rave was Spookfest (where I met Airec) but it was my second rave where I saw Tiesto on his kaleidoscope tour at the cow palace that changed my life forever. I have been hooked ever since! After seeing Tiesto, Alicia & I spontaneously decided to go to TAO for new years which led us to spontaneously deciding to take the raver bus to get to TAO, which led us to accidentally taking Antonio, David and Vandads seats in the back of the bus which forced us all to sit next to each other (as well as Jan)...and the rest is HISTORY :) (love you guys). This will be my 3rd EDC. Besides Tiesto, the love of my life, I am most excited to see Porter Robinson, Calvin Harris & Kaskade (seen them all of course, but can't wait to see what they bring to edc). Also stoked to see Knife Party for my first time!! Love me some filthy original beats;) To conclude, seems to me we have the best group EVA!! Excited to get to know everyone better and share in 3 days of edm bliss :)

Jan (Yawn) K, 23

Yo! My name is Jan Pronounced (Yawn). Born and Raised in the Bay Area. I am 22 years old and currently a Senior (Class of 2012 whattup!) at The Ohio State University in Columbus (BUCKEYE NATION!!!), I moved here 4 years ago and I am Majoring in International Business. I am skipping my Graduation Ceremony in order to attend EDC this year so I will be dressed in cap and gown! I will be starting my first professional job in the bay after EDC, so I am excited to move back to California! I am trying to get into a Top 20 MBA for grad school after one year of working (Berkeley, USC, UCLA, North Carolina are my top picks) so I can make the big $$ XD. Electronic Music is my life. Ive been raving every weekend(sometimes 2-3 times a week) for 4 years meow, and I do not listen to any music other than EDM. In the last 4 years I have attended more than 40 music festivals all across America (been to ultra miami, edc LA, electric zoo, DEMF, sensation white in europe... the list goes on) and I have made Music Festivals the core of my life and values. And Let me tell you, NOTHING COMES CLOSE TO THIS PARTY!!! EDC IS WHERE ITS AT!!! I am a hippy at heart. I live my life in order to spread more love in the world and am extremely spiritual and have a profound love and connection with all living things. Drugs are AWESOME, and they expand your mind. Lindsay Lohan is my dream girl because shes a pyscho ass bitch and I dig it. I am excited to see Tiesto murder it at EDC!!! CARL COX is one of my top picks as well! (I really wanna see house mafia again so axwell better show up). EDC truly makes me believe that we can change the world through love and music and I am so excited to celebrate this magical experience with you all. EDC 2012!!! Lets do this!!! <3

Tim C., Grizzly/Grizzly Man

Wassup guys, I'm Tim, grew up in England, but moved to this great state of California just over two years ago. Spent a year living in Marin, interrupted only by a travelling stint in South East Asia which completely changed my views about the world and really opened my eyes to just how different the rest of the world is. I also experienced my first rave type event there in the form of the Black Moon Party on Koh Phangan in Thailand which was a psy-trance event held every month. And for the past year I've been living here in the great and beautiful city of San Francisco! However my first real introduction to the scene (Is you rollin? Bitch I might be! :|) was Lovevolution last year up here in Oakland which really solidified my love for the scene after a long period of scepticism towards it. After my incredible experience there I immediately cut my vacation to Hong Kong short so I could attend Escape from Wonderland which I guess was my first 'Real Massive' and I've been raving ever since with two of my now best friends, Airec and Robert. One song that really stands out and his super special to me has to be Eagles by Sander van Doorn, because after hearing ATB drop it at Beyond Wonderland 2012 it convinced Airec and Robert to join me at POP2012 which was incredible and has kinda become our song! I'm most looking forward to seeing Kaskade headline the Friday night, he really shines as a beacon of the EDM scene, after watching and rewatching the EDC Experience I think it's about 15 times now, he seems to me to be pretty much a god in the scene and so I cannot wait to share that experience with all of you (and also for my 21st birthday when he plays up here!!!). Despite these facts however my favorite style of EDM is definitely Dubstep, my first love in music was metal, especially the darker kinds, so it's visceral and esoteric attitude really appealled to me, let alone the fact I was around for it's birth in the UK. Also a huge House fan so I'm hoping and praying every day that with a Phase 2 announcement we'll see the introduction Axwell so I can experience the awesomeness of those lads from Sweden, and although Trance isn't my favorite, it's still always an incredible experience with a great group of people that you love! Also, fun fact, although Airec was the one that inroduced me to this group, I actually knew Eric Juneau before anyone here in SF, having worked with him briefly at the Corte Madera Abercrombie store up in Marin. Small world! There really is a lot more that I could share about myself, but I gotta save some stuff for when we finally meet and get to know each other a lil better then :p. See you in VEGAS!!
